L et them hear Your voice and open their hearts to receive You. We pray that our children will recognize that Jesus is the name above all names and there is no other name under heaven given to them by which they must be saved. Lord, we thank you, for your promise that you will pour Your Spirit and Your blessings upon Your children so that they can confess that Jesus is Lord and Savior of their lives. Help them acknowledge that you alone are the Lord of everything. Help them set apart Christ as Lord of their lives in their hearts and be a new creation in Christ. Father, guide them and guard them. To You be all glory forever and ever. Amen

  • 1Peter 1:3, 23. In His great mercy, He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ and into an inheritance that can never perish – kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.” “We have been born again through the living and enduring word of God.”

Teach them to base their identity and security on Christ, so that they have Christ-centered confidence and Christ-centered worth. Give them your mind to know how you see them and how you feel about them. As your creations, help them to fully understand who they are and what they have in Christ and what they can do through Jesus. Father, you adopted them as your children through Jesus Christ, help them to be holy and blameless before you. Help them understand that they are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God that they may declare the praises of Him who called them out of darkness into His marvelous light. Let them genuinely know Your greatest love that You redeemed them with Your precious blood.  Help them fully believe in You.  Having believed in You, thank you for marking them with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing their inheritance until the day of redemption.
